hey all
i was just looking through some old articles on the Lumiere reader a while ago and i found this review by Amy Brown about the discussion Andie recorded for Hue and Cry:
http://www.lumiere.net.nz/reader/item/1411
You should check it out, the reviewer thinks that our discussion is a spoof! And totally fictionalised. It made me laugh anyway.
I'm imminently arriving back in Welly (moving on Easter weekend), so look forward to seeing some of you then, discussing projects and making plans in person.

ok, so that link didn't work. but just google, 'lumiere hue and cry' and it comes up. hip hip.
good on you for putting that up Tom - it does work, you just have to copy the URL into your own address bar.
it a good read. funny how it talks about the TAC piece, as if were authored in a straight-forward way by andie. obviously the reviewer did not read her intro very well.
it made me laff too!
p
:)
it seems like the reviewer couldn't believe that this discussion actually took place - but then I think she is a poet ...
I'm flattered that she assumed our dialogue was the result of a comedic fictional foray into the mind of group.
We must come across as real characters!
yea she must have completely overlooked the first part!
re-reading the transcript though (with a bit of distance) it's pretty comical! maybe it's partly due to the way the piece was edited but it sounds like we take ourselves pretty seriously, either that or we're completely nutters!
Liz- when are you coming across the ditch?
Tom- I met your sister the other night!
Mel and Paula - hello!
oh oh I'm going to an exhibition at VCA on Thursday called group group show- it's a group show (funnily enough) about collaborative artist groups- and is curated by DAMP.
I'll let you know how it goes
xx
