Assessment of Prospect

I've been thinking about the necessity of assessing TAC's activity in Prospect in order that me may move onto greener pastures with clear directives, awareness of successes and failures and evident focuses. I don't know if the Wellington meeting of TAC has gone ahead or any discussion has been had a about this?

I thought that since we are all now spread around corners of the globe, one way to collect and assess would be to draw up a number of questions to which each TAC member could respond (perhaps by using the email system). After this we could analyse, assess, see if there are any similarities or wild discrepancies in our responses.

I also thought that these written responses could also partially be used in future documentation of process and potentially some of it could even be re-worked for the toolkit if we decide that is something we want to go ahead with.

A few questions I had thought of so far were:

1. At what stage did you feel most comfortable with TAC's processes?
2. How effective did you feel the trolley project was in engaging with a community wider than the art community?
3. If you could have changed a process in the development of the trolley project, what would you have changed? Why?

ps Best title award goes to Sian for title previous to this one :)

I'm digging what you're planting. Andie has a list of similar Q's somewhere (deep) in the post pile, I'll dig em up for monday.
Putting together the material I sent to Andie for the Two Fold project made me realise the importance of being smart in documenting CAMRU - the Q & A could be a great way of documenting while keeping a process focus primary.

hey guys
i'll cut and paste those questions re:two-fold (show opens on oct 2nd) to discuss at the meeting if poss. Sorry i had meant to start up a new post summarising all that had gone before as Liz suggested but i'm sick and miserable today and the thought of that seemed overwhelming!!

" Shall we write our own text? Shall we ask somebody else to write about us. It's only 200 words as I wanted lots of different writing voices to be heard and some texts may be more like interview transcripts, it's pretty flexible as i wanted to experiment with catalogue formats, i just hope it won't be too chaotic! let me know your thoughts though :) and images for the catalogue too, do we use pre-existing shots or should i set something new up?"
Also was it long ago that you sent the package over Liz? and Paula? I havent recieved anything yet. I'm sure I'll have more questions when i recieve the TAC documentation, but until then i'll hold my tongue.
Thanks guys

oh! hope you had some time out and are feeling better today Andie!
Sorry, we had our meeting in the morning and so missed your comment - There was a lot to cover and (double sorry!) I forgot about the writing question for Two Fold.
I sent the package at 3.55pm 14/8, and just had a quick check on NZ post track and trace, their is no info available for whereabouts yet. The teller said it would be between 10 - 14 days so I guess we are still within that now - should arrive over the next couple of days though hopefully. P sent hers about 3 days later.
I have lost track of your project time frame but if you need answers to your catalogue questions then perhaps you could post them as one week decisions and email people individually to prompt feedback.
I am finding it hard to gauge what would be appropriate for the two fold context, perhaps because it is a documentation presentation we should get someone else to write a blurb - maybe a melbourne person who didn't see the Prospect show?
