Subjective meeting rememberings

Hi guys,

Just thought I would try and write up some of the stuff from the meeting.....I didn't take notes so this will be super subjective and stuff but here goes.

Agreed to meet Monday at 10am at City Gallery. Will but stationary make last decisions etc. Tyree will make and attach the handle as soon as possible during the install week.

Intrays and various means of attaching them were discussed, but decided I think that the best idea is to use the shelf which the desk is part of. On top of the trolley will be various trays which are labelled with different kinds of 'guidance' / 'encouragement' material. (can't remember if this was discussed in this meeting or the last one, but I remember having an idea about labelling the trays with notions like 'Opinionated', 'Emotional', 'Investigative' etc. I think Mel made the point that it would be good to have some way for audience to orientate themselves around what kind of material they would prefer to use.

We will have post its and plain paper (a ream of A4). We will use our pencils which will be attached to the trolley, and also will purchase some plain ones.

Poems, various flow charts and ideas were discussed, and decided that all manner of material is good and useful. Mel had a selection of quotes, which we thought could either be typed up or handwritten. All material to be finished for photocopying at C G on Monday.

Putting readings in the reading room was discussed, but uncertainty over whether the reading room would be available in that way. Suggestion that some material could be photocopied so that we had a number of copies for people to take away with them. Suggestion of this material being on the outposts also.

Diary / log book discussed for the trolley so that manners can communicate any thoughts etc while workin the trolley. I wondered whether this material could be collated into stuff which goes into the reading material in teh spirit of self documentation. Also I reckon it will be really useful information for us because others will be manning the work so will be giving us feedback on things which work well or not.

Pencils have been ordered and shoudl be hopefully finished by Friday, and we are trying to think of people coming down for the opening so we can avoid courier costs.

Some discussion of Melbourne Clubs project possibilities for the end of the year.....like that it is a good idea, that it would be great to get all the runners of the artist run spaces together, that there is lots of potential and that Andie will be super useful 'person on the ground'.
(Hi Andie we miss you!)

Orange nail varnish and lipstick will be provided by Alex.

That's all I can remember folks!!

Sian
