I recently got in touch with Clubs to check out how we should proceed with our project with them and here's the update:
'Clubs are also pretty busy organising a forum on sustainable practice, for which we will be renting a space at the Meat Market, A large studio complex. Which will be free in june/july if this suits your project? We have found co-ordinating the many Artist run spaces of melbourne quite a task, and wouldn't be able to be verry much help on this. But are happy to host you spacially in june or july and do emails etc. Sorry, it is hard with out a fixed space, but if these dates don't suit we could also help with some where to lauch the publication, and try with the exhibition space?. I am happy to be the liason with you guys, but will be going overseas towards the end of July till sept, so if you guys can fit in to these tight limitations (sorry kind of a busy year for clubs, and clubs members) that would be great.'
... which is cool but I feel like June/July is a bit soon for us??? Good if you guys could have a bit of a chat at the meeting about this. Considering our ideas for Melbourne so far we don't really need a space as such anyhow - just an event venue, which could even be outside.

thanks mel for making that enquiry. i think you are right, june/july is a very busy time for art this year. liz and i are hoping to be in germany for 5 weeks or so from june. i think we should go for a publication launch or project later in the year....
Hi mel, can report that we are all in agreement that june/july is to early for us, that we are also still focused on working towards a collaboration kit rather than side tracking energy into a show. Choice.
